World Heart Day---- Know the little Heart

World Heart Day takes place on 29th September every year. World Heart Day is one of the biggest platforms of World Heart federation for raising the awareness about cardiovascular diseases like stroke and heart disease.


Do you know that our heart is size of a fist.
It starts beating when you were of only 4 weeks in your mother's womb and stops with death. It pumps 2000 gallons (7570 Liters) blood every day. It beats around 3 Billions times in an average lifetime. Do you know that a women's heart beats slightly faster that of a man. Our little heart beats about 100,000 times each day.

If you took all the blood vessels out of an average child and laid them out in one line, the line would stretch over 60,000 miles. An adult's would be closer to 100,000 miles (160934 KM) long.

2-HEART FAILURE:
Heart failure usually develops GRADUALLY. The heart muscles become weaker and has trouble pumping bloods. This is a chronic  condition that gradually gets worse. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fatigue, swollen legs and rapid heartbeat.
